A classic in and of itself, the dirty martini sounds as sexy as it is delicious. While there are many versions of this classic cocktail, this one's our favorite:

The Ingredients

2 ½ shots of ice-cold Belvedere vodka

½ shot dry vermouth (to taste, ie: dry or wet)

4 tsp of olive brine

3 large green olives

The Tools

Martini glass, straight from the freezer

Cocktail shaker

Hawthrone strainer

Fine strainer

Drink stirrer

Toothpick(s)

The Process

Fill the shaker with ice to the top.

Add all of the ingredients. Stir for about 15 seconds, then shake for 10. (Shaking technically makes this a Bradford, but it will make the vermouth taste less oily.)

Through the Hawthorne and fine strainer, pour the mixture into the frozen martini glass.

Put three olives on a toothpick and serve.

Tip: If your tastebuds are feeling adventurous, try olives stuffed with blue cheese or pimiento .
